Jenifer T Peralta is a behavioral health executive, special education advocate, and mission-driven entrepreneur born and raised in the Dominican Republic — whose journey from immigrant roots to multi-state CEO is a testament to the power of purpose-driven work.
Jenifer holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Education (B–2nd Grade) from Mercy College, a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, both from Lehman College. Her passion for working with children with special needs deepened while serving as a Head Teacher at The Goddard School, where she witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of individualized care. In 2014, she joined The Manhattan Children Center as an ABA Instructor and went on to serve at The Manhattan Behavioral Center, building a clinical foundation that would shape everything PIERPOINTE stands for.
Over her career, Jenifer has served in virtually every capacity the field demands — administrator, classroom teacher, parent trainer, and behavioral therapist in both clinical and home-based settings — supporting children ages 3 to 21 across special education, ABA, and family systems. Her professional interests span special education and family law, staff development, and performance management.
As a proud single mother, Jenifer holds her own children as her highest standard. Every service PIERPOINTE provides is measured against one question: would this be good enough for my own children? That standard drives her clinical expectations and her vision for a world where no family has to fight alone for the care their child deserves.
As the founder and CEO of PIERPOINTE Behavior Analysts of Connecticut, LLC, she leads a multi-state organization delivering ABA therapy, speech and language services, and inclusive educational programming across Connecticut and New York — guided by the philosophy: who I am and how I am matters beyond the science.
Jenifer is deeply rooted in the communities she serves. She is a bilingual professional fluent in English and Spanish, a former President of the PTO at Candlewood Elementary School, a Volunteer Voting Member of the Brookfield Education Foundation, a Platinum Sponsor of the Brookfield Education Foundation, a proud Gold Sponsor of the Puzzles Marathon 5K in Danbury, CT, and a proud member of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA) — reflecting her unwavering commitment to families navigating special education systems.
